The National Monuments Service's description
No trace survives of the church known locally as Páirc an Teampaill. It was located on a slight rise on the S side of the Inny river. Remnants of it were visible in the last century (local information).
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 1099. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
