The National Monuments Service's description
Scant remains of this well-built circular hut are preserved against the inner face of the enclosure (KE080-046001-) wall at SE. The Delaps recorded that this was about 8 feet (2.45m) in internal diameter (1910, 186). The surviving portion is built in regular courses of flat slabs, and stands 1.2m high.
The above description is derived from O'Sullivan, A. and Sheehan, J. (compilers) 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University press. (1996), no. 959. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
