The National Monuments Service's description
The SE end-wall of this large rectangular structure, measuring 8.4m x 4.9m, abuts the enclosing element of enclosure (KE080-046001-) at S. Its walls, faced with flat slabs externally, are very overgrown and stand up to 1m high and measure .8m thick. Gaps occur in both side-walls and in the NE end-wall.
The above description is derived from O'Sullivan, A. and Sheehan, J. (compilers) 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University press. (1996), no. 959. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
