The National Monuments Service's description

A circular and a rectangular hut on the SE slopes of Killelan mountain, overlooking Doulus Bay and Lough Kay.

(2) KE079-008001- The foundations of the rectangular hut are located 7m to E. Two collapsed, corbelled sheepfolds occupy its interior. D: 5.5m x 1.6m.

A number of old field fences occur in the vicinity; one contains a corbelled recess on its E side.
