The National Monuments Service's description

The foundations of the subcircular hut lie a short distance NE of the modern entrance gap of enclosure (KE078-009004-). The hut measures 3m N-S x 4.25m E-W internally and features a corbelled wall up to .35m high and 1.4m thick. The N half is well-defined internally, and the external wall facing is intermittently visible from N through E to SW. The entrance may have been located in the now disturbed S section.

The above description is derived from O'Sullivan, A. and Sheehan, J. (compilers) 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University press. (1996), no. 940. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
