The National Monuments Service's description

In clear area of otherwise rocky mountain heath (205m OD), on a NE-facing slope. Excellent views of Behy river valley to NE with Seefin and Droum Mountains in background; Stream is c. 9m to NW. A slightly rough and very fractured sandstone boulder (1.55m NW-SE; 1.1m NE-SW; H 0.35m at N) which is roughly triangular in plan. It has a roughly circular decorated surface which has a S-facing aspect and bears a cup-and-two-ring motif (total diam. 16cm) having a central cupmark (diam. 5cm; D 8mm) and two rings (Wth 1cm; D 2-3mm). Motif is at base of stone and is eroded across S arc, possibly due to proximity with present ground level. It is possible that additional motifs are obscured under the sod to E and S.
