The National Monuments Service's description

In rocky mountain heath (191m), on a NE-facing slope. Excellent views of Behy river valley to NE with Seefin and Droum Mountains in background. Small dry valley adjacent to SE and hut site c. 10m to SSW. A slightly rough and fractured sandstone boulder (dims. 0.83m NW-SE; 0.7m NE-SW; H 0.45m at SE) which is irregular in plan. It has an irregular decorated surface (dims. 0.7m NW-SE; 0.5m NE-SW) with a SW-facing aspect. The decorated surface bears fourteen picked cupmarks of similar size (average dims. 4.5 x 5cm; D 6mm) with distinct clusters of pickmarks in the vicinity. A circle of pickmarks is located at W-end of decorated surface. A linear arrangement of pickmarks (L 0.2m E-W; Wth 2cm) is to the northern side of the cupmarks. A cluster (dims. 7 x 8cm) of very well-preserved pickmarks (diam. 7mm; D 3-4mm) is located upon a higher part of the stone, at E end of decorated surface. Freeze-thaw action evident at S. Rock art (KE071-156----) is c. 4m to NE, a small dry valley is adjacent to SE.
