Megalithic tomb - wedge tomb

The National Monuments Service's description

This tomb lies about 300m NE of KE070-035---- and is deeply buried in boggy ground. It consists of a narrow unroofed gallery, c. 3.7m in overall length and 1.15m in average width. One large stone forms the N side of the gallery. Two stones, set one behind the other, close the E end. The S side consists of three stones; the stone at W is set outside the line of the other two and may have served as a doubling to a now missing side-stone. A buttress-stone leans against it at W. The levels of the side-stones indicate a general decrease in height from W to E. A prostrate stone at the open W end of the gallery may represent a fallen septal- or door-stone (de Valera and Ó Nuallain 1982, 60).
