The National Monuments Service's description
In rough hill grazing, on an E-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Awnaskirtaun River and on the lower slopes of the Paps of Dana. A substantial horseshoe-shaped sod-covered mound of burnt material (15m E-W; 13m N-S; H 1.9m) with an opening (6m E-W; 4.5m N-S) facing a wet area to the W.
