The National Monuments Service's description
In scrub-covered cutaway bog, sloping down slightly to the NE. Indicated as a circular stony area (diam. c. 15m) on the 1846 OS 6-inch map. A ring of twenty nine stones with another stone in the centre forming 'Cloca Breaca' were recorded in the 1940s (Schools Manuscript, Co. Kerry). The diameter of this circle was given as 35 feet [10.66m] and the dimensions of the stones being 2 feet 7 inches [0.77m] high by 2 feet 8 in [0.8m] in width and 1 foot 8 in [0.5m] in thickness (ibid.). There are no visible remains of this possible stone circle.
