The National Monuments Service's description
In rough hill pasture, on a S-facing slope with restricted views. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 3.6m) defined by a drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.5m). The interior is cut (D 0.6m) into the upslope at N and raised (H 0.4m) at S to compensate for the hillslope. The interior is obscured by rubble and heather.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
