The National Monuments Service's description
In rough marshy pasture which is mainly covered with rushes, in a flat area between ridges to the N and S. There are no visible remains of this fulacht fia. According to local information, there was formerly a mound of burnt material here which was removed and scattered in the area. This is the fulacht fia measuring '10ft [3m] x 12[ft] [3.66m] x 3ft [0.91m] high' which was recorded in the 1940s in Dan Murphy's land (Schools Manuscript, Co. Kerry).
