The National Monuments Service's description

In rough pasture, on a S-facing slope. A crescent-shaped grass-covered mound (10m NW-SE; 7m NE-SW; H 1m) of burnt material with the opening (4.5m NW-SE; 2.5m NE-SW) facing SW. The mound is partly obscured by long grass. This is probably one of two fulachtaí fia (see KE060-078----) recorded in the 1940s in Patrick Kelleher's land (Schools Manuscript, Co. Kerry).
