The National Monuments Service's description
In a rath (KE059-007----). In the 1940s 'a big heap of stones, which mark the entrance to a souterrain' at 'one end' of a central hut (KE059-007002-), was recorded (ITA). Two hollows, the larger containing a stone slab, occur on the W perimeter of the hut site and may form the souterrain entrance. According to local information, the souterrain was infilled as a safety precaution.
