The National Monuments Service's description
In improved meadow (to N) and rough, ungrazed pasture (to S), on a gentle S-facing slope. Oval area (dims. 24m N-S; 18m E-W) defined by a scarp (Wth 4m; H 0.8m) E->S->W which is levelled, yet traceable W->N->E. It is bisected by a field boundary (long-axis WNW-ESE) which consists of a mature hedge and a concrete post and wire fence. No corresponding feature depicted upon historic mapping. Not evident upon modern aerial photography (OSi 2010; Bing 2015).
