The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on the summit of a low hill. A circular area (42m E-W) defined by a bank (Wth 8.9m; int. H 1.5m; ext. H 2.5m) of earth and shale. The level interior is slightly higher than the outer ground level. There are cattle gaps along the bank at N and NNE. A recent break through the bank at W allows machinery access to the interior. There is a possible entrance (Wth c. 2m) at E. A lane skirts the bank externally SW-NW.
