The National Monuments Service's description
In a rath (KE058-076----). A portion of a stone-lined and lintelled passage (on a NW-SE axis) is visible through an opening in the NW quadrant of the rath. The souterrain was recorded in the 1940s as a '4ft [1.22m] opening to very extensive underground chambers, propped up by large stone slabs, and some masonry work' (ITA).
