The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on a NE-facing slope, overlooking the Gweestin River to the N. A roughly circular area (c. 30m N-S) defined by a low earthen bank (Wth 3.6m; int. H 0.55m; ext. H 0.25m) E-SW, by a field boundary which is incorporated into the bank SW-NW and by a recently constructed E-W lane which truncates the N sector. The remains of an old E-W lane crosses the interior to the N of the centre, overlying the bank along the NW-NNW and NE-E arcs. This lane was originally defined by two earthen banks but the bank on the S side has been levelled except for the E and W extremities. There is a possible entrance at ESE. The N half of the interior is raised to compensate for the downslope. The interior to the N of the disused lane is strewn with large stones and debris. A souterrain (KE058-050001-) is associated with this rath.
