The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on level ground. A curving field boundary (C c. 60m) is visible NNW-SSW. A break of slope, represented as contour line on the 1895 OS 6-inch map, is visible on the W side. A pile of earth and stones is visible in the S sector. A stream flows along a deep drain around the field boundary externally. There is a gateway at E. The field boundary survives exactly as shown on the 1846 and 1895 OS 6-inch maps and in an aerial photo (GSIAP, V 390-91) taken in 1977.
