The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, at the top of a gentle N-facing slope. A raised circular area (diam. 36m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 6m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.1m) NNE-ESE and by a scarp (H 1.1m) ESE-NNE. An external fosse (Wth 1.1m; D 0.25m) is evident ESE-SSE. The W half of the interior is level and the E half slopes down to the W. Briars obscure the central area and the NW quadrant. An E-W fence crosses the scarp at S. A souterrain (KE057-069001-) is associated with this rath.
