The National Monuments Service's description
The circular univallate enclosure marked on the 1st edition of the OS map is now only faintly discernible. The remains consist of a slight hollow, roughly 24m in diameter, enclosed by a very low bank. The site lies on a very gentle N facing slope on the E side of Dingle Harbour.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 607. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
