The National Monuments Service's description
This circular univallate ringfort is located on the E side of Dingle Harbour and has been trisected by field walls. The enclosing bank is only barely discernible and the enclosure measures c. 30m in external diameter. A souterrain (KE053-093----) was apparently found in either this fort or KE053-031---- or KE053-032---- (local information).
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 610. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
