The National Monuments Service's description
The original provenance of the small cross-inscribed stone which stands beside the ogham stone (KE053-012001-) is not known. The stone is .25m high and .27m wide and one face is inscribed with a double-barred cross with expanded terminals to head and arms. The base of the shaft is obscured by the bullaun stone or font which has been set in the ground in front of it. The provenance of the latter is also unknown.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage (compiler) 'Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey.' Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne (1986), no. 799. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
