The National Monuments Service's description
This bullaun stone was discovered in a load of clearance debris from Glanfahan townland and is now preserved in a garden in Ventry village. It measures 1.47 x 1.15m and the depression is .23m in diameter and .85m deep.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 965. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
