This stone stands 1.58m high and measures 1.15m x .35m at base; N-S. It is known as 'Gallán na Gealaighe' (Macalister 1899, 214).
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 123. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
