The National Monuments Service's description
This low upright, possibly a standing stone, stands on an E facing slope near the foot of Mount Eagle, in a pasture field broken with rock outcrop and boulders. It is 1m high and 1m x .5m at base; ESE-WNW.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 125. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
