The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on a W-facing slope with views NW to the Slieve Mish Mountains. A circular area (23m E-W; 22.5m N-S) defined by three earthen banks with intervening fosses. The inner bank (Wth 4.8m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1.1m) is evident S-SSW, WSW-WNW and N-E. The innermost intervening fosse (Wth 2.7m) is visible all round. The middle bank (Wth 4.8m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 1.1m) and the outermost intervening fosse (Wth 2.8m) are evident SW-N. The outer bank (Wth 5.9m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.8m) is evident SE-SW and WNW-N and the distance between it and the middle bank SE-SW is up to 12m. The level interior is raised at W to compensate for the hillslope. A stream is eroding the rath along the NE arc.
