The National Monuments Service's description
In level pasture, c. 200m NE of Cloonmealane Castle (KE047-034----). A slightly raised roughly circular area (c. 26m E-W; c. 22m N-S) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 1.15m; int. H 0.48m; ext. H 0.68m) E-SW and by the slight remains of a levelled bank (Wth 6.2m; int. H 0.18m; ext. H 0.3m) W-E. A linear NW-SE field boundary truncates the WSW arc. According to local information, the rath was levelled in the 1930s.
