A circular univallate rath situated on a NW facing slope near the foot of Flemingstown mountain. The level interior is enclosed by a single earthen bank and contains the remains of 2 rectangular house sites. The bank reaches its maximum internal height of 1.7m on the S, uphill side and its maximum external height of 2.1m on the downhill side, at NW. For a short distance at N the bank has been removed and the site is defined only by a scarp, the interior being raised above the external ground level on this downhill side. The NE part of the bank doubles as a field boundary and the stone facing along its inner face here probably relates to this secondary use. It is not clear which of the 4 breaks in the bank represents the original entrance. The house-sites lie end to end in a SSE-NNW alignment, the N house abutting the ringfort bank at N.
N house: The remains consist of a raised rectangular platform, very slightly hollowed in the interior. It is 5.5m long, 4.4m wide and .4m high.
S house: This lies 2m S of the N house site and consists also of a raised rectangular platform. It is 5.4m long, at least 2.8m wide, and .3m high. Its N and E limits are unclear.
