Tobar Thomáis: A partly slab-lined well in the bank of a small stream. There is a vague tradition that this was a holy well (Ó Danachair 1960, 78).
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 937. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
