The National Monuments Service's description
An tSean-eaglais: An Seabhac (1939, 173) recorded the location of a church and possibly a graveyard here at a cross-roads about 1.5km E of Lispole village. There is no visible trace of either feature.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 973. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
