The National Monuments Service's description

Incorporated into an old field boundary on the vast expanse of moorland where an extensive pre-bog field system has been discovered (KE044-029----). A circular hut foundation, its outer and inner faces defined by upright slabs. D: 4 to 4.4m. H: .82m. T: 1.05m.

The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 1376. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
