The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on level pastureland immediately S of the village at Dromavally, this stone stands 2.1m high and measures 1.54m x .6m at base; E-W. The sides taper only slightly, but the W side exhibits a marked shoulder before rising to the pointed top a little E of centre.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 98. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
