Between Lateevemore and Knockavrogeen is a small valley through which a tributary of the Milltown river flows SE towards Dingle Harbour. This site commands an excellent view from the steep slopes on the SW side of the valley, and a similar site (KE043-123----) lies about 600m to NW at the head of the valley. A sub-circular platform, 6m in diameter, is enclosed by a fosse and external bank. The fosse is 2m wide, .6m deep below the central platform, and 1.3m deep below the crest of the bank. The latter is 3.5m wide and c. 1m high above the external ground level. The site measures c. 20 to 27m in overall diameter. The SE portion of the bank has been replaced by a field boundary which appears to follow the former line of this feature; further damage to the site, including breaks in the bank, has been caused by animal traffic. However, 2 opposed entrances at E and W may be original. The gap in the bank at W is 2.5m wide, and a poorly preserved causeway, 1.4m wide, leads across the fosse to the central platform. No causeway is evident in the vicinity of the E gap but, as the bank to S of this has been removed, and the area is somewhat disturbed, it is possible that one formerly existed. A low standing stone (KE043-128----) is located 75m to SW in the adjacent field.
