The National Monuments Service's description
The clochaun marked on the OS Fair Plan and shown untitled on the 1st edition does not survive, but nearby is what appears to be the lintelled entrance to a souterrain (KE043-126001-).
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 1445. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
