The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in rough pasture on a gentle ESE facing slope of Lateevemore, commanding an extensive view, particularly SE towards Dingle Harbour. A circular platform, 12m in diameter, is enclosed by a fosse, 1.5m wide, and an external bank c. 3m wide, the overall diameter averaging 23m. The bank measures c. 0.45m high externally, .9 to 1.1m high internally, and the platform rises about .25m above the base of the fosse. Two causewayed entrances, to ESE and WNW, provide access to the interior, that to WNW varying in width from 1.1m at the middle to 2m at either end, that to ESE being somewhat disturbed but measuring 1.7m to 2m in width. The latter causeway is raised very slightly above the level of the field beyond, and a large stone is visible at its NE edge; it is unclear whether or not this latter is naturally positioned. A number of disused field boundaries occur to N and W of the site, and the exterior of the bank at N has been disturbed by one of these, possibly even providing some of the material for its construction. 9.5m to N is a possible standing stone (KE043-123001-) .7m high and .75m wide, its long axis aligned ESE-WNW. About 150m to E is a 2nd larger standing stone (KE043-124----).

The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 251. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
