The National Monuments Service's description
'This site is situated in a large field, which is still marshy in places but has been partially reclaimed. It consists of a low, sub-circular mound measuring 12.2m N-S and 10.4m E-W. The mound is on average 0.35m high and there is no evidence for a trough.Probing revealed the presence of stone and black soil in the mound.'
