The National Monuments Service's description

Lisparkeenreilly/Lios Páircín Raighlí: Situated on a W facing slope which commands an extensive view over the valley that extends S from Camp, as well as across Tralee Bay to the Magharees peninsula. The site is shown on the 1st edition of the OS map as a circular enclosure and it was described in the OSNB (Kilgobban, book 2, 1) as a circular earthen fort. On the 2nd edition of the OS map only the W half of the enclosure is shown. The present remains consist of a level, semi-circular platform defined, on the downslope side, by a drop of 1.8m to the field below. It measures 22.2m N-S and 11.1m E-W across its upper surface.

The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 661. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
