The National Monuments Service's description
The lios or dún recorded by An Seabhac (1939, 301) has recently been levelled. Its site is now marked only by a light scatter of small stones and a difference in the colour of the grass covering a roughly circular area over 20m in diameter.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 708. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
