The National Monuments Service's description

In rough fern-covered grazing on an E-W terrace on a N-facing hillslope with a view N to the mouth of Tralee Bay. A circular hut (diam. 1.6m) is defined by the jumbled remains of a drystone wall (T 0.7m; H 0.4m), best along the N arc. The interior is obscured by ferns. Hut site (KE036-095005-) is c. 20m to the S.
