The National Monuments Service's description
In rough fern-covered grazing on the S side of an E-W terrace on a N-facing hillslope with a view N to the mouth of Tralee Bay. The remains of a circular hut (diam. 1.5m) are defined by a mainly collapsed drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.4m at S) best along the S arc. The level interior is raised (H 0.3m) at N and cut into the bank (D 0.2m) at S to compensate for the slope. Hut site (KE036-006-) is c. 10m to the NE.
