The National Monuments Service's description
This possible rath is situated within a small wood on a steep NE facing slope overlooking Gleann na nGealt. The circular, level platform which forms the interior measures 14 to 15m in diameter. To W it is defined by a very steep scarp, c. 4 to 4.5m high, which merges with the hillslope above. To E the rim of the platform is raised very slightly above the interior and at least 1.5m above the external ground level. Some stones set on edge in the interior are not now visible but may have formed part of a souterrain (local information).
