The National Monuments Service's description

This site consists of a curved section of earthen bank that may be the remains of a small enclosure c. 8m in diameter internally. However, there is no trace of a continuation of the bank around the remainder of the perimeter. It is situated on the W slopes of the valley about 75m from a small river.

The above description is derived from J. Cuppage (compiler) 'Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey.' Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne (1986), no. 1543. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
