The National Monuments Service's description
Internal diam. 28m
Situated on fairly level ground on the S edge of the level coastal strip that borders Tralee Bay, this site consists of a semi-circular arc of bank now planted with trees and densely overgrown. The bank of earth and stone survives to a height of .35m internally, .65m externally and averages 4m in width. Though the enclosure was probably originally circular, the bank is not traceable along the W sector.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 359. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
