The National Monuments Service's description
In rough pasture (84m OD), on a NW-facing slope, c. 40m to E of a trackway and c. 75m to S of a regional road (R560). Excellent views NW-> N->NE of Brandon Mountain range, Brandon Bay and Maharee Islands; overlooked by higher ground of Slievanea mountain to SW. A slightly rough and fractured sandstone (dims. 1.24m NW-SE; 0.75m NE-SW) which is subtriangular in plan and is protruding (H 0.15m) just above the existing ground level. It has a linear decorated surface (dims. 0.2m NW-SE; 0.6m NE-SW) which has a SW-facing aspect. The motifs are very subtle and consist of two decorative elements situated 0.35m apart. A very faint cup-and-ring motif (overall diam. 0.15m; cup dims. 7 x 6cm; D 10mm; ring Wth 2-2.5cm; D 2mm) is situated at NE margin and a cupmark (Diam. 4cm; D 6mm) is located at S margin of stone. Rock art (KE035-073037-) is c. 31m to WSW.
