The National Monuments Service's description
(p) Possible hut: The collapsed foundations of a possible circular hut measuring c. 4.6m in diameter internally. It is defined by a band of stone collapse, 1.1m wide and up to .5m high, which is partly obscured by overlying peat.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 25. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
