Lios an Bhunaigh: A univallate rath situated on the lower NW slopes of a N spur of the central mountain range. The site overlooks the Owenmore valley to N and W and the valleys of the Scorid and Glennahoo rivers to E. The single bank, of earth and stone, is a maximum of 1.31m high externally and .7m high internally and averages 2.4m in width at base. The .6m wide gap at WSW may result from animal traffic. The bank in the NW quadrant has been removed, but the outline of the enclosure is preserved as a low scarp, the interior being raised slightly above the external ground level. The spoil from this section of the bank forms a large mound at the E end of the surviving section.
