The National Monuments Service's description

Located 4m S of the entrance to a clochaun (KE034-093004-) is a low circular cairn of stones, pre-dominantly quartz, defined by a kerb of large stones; it measures 4.25 to 4.45m in diameter. A single low upright in the cairn may be a gravemarker.

The above description is derived from J. Cuppage (compiler) 'Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey.' Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne (1986), no. 1038. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
