The National Monuments Service's description

A clochaun (KE034-093004-) and souterrain (KE034-093003-), a cross-inscribed stone (KE034-093002-) and a probable burial ground (KE034-093001-) located within an old field system on the E slopes of a low ridge at the head of Com an Lochaigh, just above the valley floor. Several other structures are located nearby within the same field system, including 3 huts (KE034-094----, KE034-095---- and KE034-146----), some crudely-built structures and enclosures, probably related to sheep farming in the area, and the ruins of a house of probable post-medieval date.

The above description is derived from J. Cuppage (compiler) 'Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey.' Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne (1986), no. 1038. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
