The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a NW facing slope near the foot of Brandon mountain, this site was marked on the 1st edition of the OS map as a sub-circular enclosure, open to SW, with a rectangular building in the interior. On the 2nd edition it was shown as simply a full circular enclosure. There are now no visible remains of any feature on the site and only a house foundation is remembered locally.

The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 632. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
